YMCA Jaguar Cheerleading offers both recreational and competition level cheerleading. Cheerleaders learn cheers, chants, stunts and the competition squads learn dance routines. Cheerleading opportunities are available for cheerleaders ages 6-14 on a first come first serve basis. Squads are compiled by age and ability. Competition is reserved for the two oldest age groups. Cheerleading is a huge time commitment on the part of the cheerleader and parents.

All cheerleaders are required to cheer at both home and away games. Practices and home games are held at the YMCA complex. Practices begin 8/4/08. Any cheerleader who registers after April 12th will pay $105.
